My gift to you is: Time
From Luke 1:7 - But they had no child, because Elizabeth was barren, and they were both advanced in years.
Today I am giving you the gift of time. Zacharias and Elizabeth were advanced in years and Elizabeth was barren. For them it was a sign of failure. However, in spite of being older, and out of time, my Word over them would prevail. Time and age do not matter to Me.
There are three miracle pregnancies in the Christmas story; Sarah: she was too old to have a child, Mary: she was a virgin, and Elizabeth: she was also too old to have a child. But when God steps into time, all things are possible. Sarah’s child started the lineage of the Savior. Elizabeth’s child proclaimed the arrival of the Savior. Mary’s child became the Savior.
Zacharias had served his duty well for many years under the law, but in the latter time of his life, the power of the Holy Spirit would provide what obedience to the law could not, new birth. Under the anointing of my Holy Spirit, says the Lord, there is hope for you, even when you think time has run out! Under the power of My Spirit, nothing is impossible. It is not keeping law that produces. It is my grace and power that produces what you lack. Your age does not matter. Your ability to produce does not matter. It is the power of God which can, and will, produce for you in your inability. This year, I am giving you the gift of time. What you have not been able to produce in your life without Me will be provided in a single moment. Do not be unbelieving like Zacharias. Believe my Word. Then, what you could not produce over a lifetime, I will produce in a single moment.
What are you been believing for?
