25 Gifts of Christmas: Gift No. 8 ~ Fruitfulness

My gift to you is: Fruitfulness

From Luke 1:6,7 - They were both righteous in the sight of God, walking blamelessly in all the commandments and requirements of the Lord. But they had no child, because Elizabeth was barren.

What I said about Zacharias and Elizabeth is true; they were blameless but they were barren. I say to you my child, do not try to be righteous in your own eyes, but put your eyes on me so that you might have fruit and not be barren.

I have not called you to be a member of the right church, or the right club, or the right denomination, or to have the right position about anything. All human rightness before me is as filthy rags. Rather, I have called you to bear much fruit. It is not my heart for you to be barren. I have designed you, called you, and given you my powerful Holy Spirit that can make you very fruitful for my kingdom, just as the fig tree bears fruit so it can feed people.

Zacharias was righteous before the law, but he was not a believing man. As a result, he lost his voice. Today some of my children have no voice for my kingdom because they are focused on being right; not focused on me, the King of fruitfulness.

My voice produces fruit when you hear my Word and believe it. You must read it, speak it, believe it, and act on it for fruit to come forth. I have called you and assigned much fruit to you! Receive my fruit. Become a bearer of my good news and you will bear much fruit this year!

What Word has God spoken to you, that you can believe, receive, and give to others?
