25 Gifts of Christmas: Gift No. 5 ~ A New Name
My gift to you is: A New Name
From Matthew 1:21 - And you shall call his name Jesus . . .

The enemy has designed a name for you, a name designed to pull you down, devalue you, draw you away from me, and cause you to live far below your potential as a child of the King.
I give out new, powerful names; names that describe the highest value, the greatest purpose, the best possible potential in those I love, and I love you with an everlasting love that cannot be thwarted! I changed Abram’s name to Abraham and he became the father of many nations. I changed Simon’s name to Peter and he became the Rock. I changed Saul to Paul and behold, I am changing you. All through my Word, you can see me changing the names of those I have redeemed. A new name reflects change, a new position to operate from. It reflects the standard from which I will be blessing you as you act in agreement with that name.
I have chosen a name for you. From now on you are to be called . . . Loved, Redeemed, Highly Favored, Forgiven, Saved, Eternally Secure, Cherished, Accepted, Watched Over, Beautiful, Cared For, Healthy, Talented, Intelligent, Sought After, Bride, Lover, King, Queen. And so, so much more. I have a new name for every area of your life in which I am working. Look at the area of your life where you seem most flawed, then put the eyes of your faith upon me and listen for the new name I will speak to you over that area. Tune into my Holy Spirit and listen, then ask, what is the best, most powerful, positive, overcoming word that best describes the opposite of your greatest failure . . . and that is your new name!
What is your new name for this year?
