Kathleen Thornton serves as director of marketing copy and content at University of Maryland Global Campus (Íøºì±¬ÁÏ). She and her team write and edit content to support the university’s outreach and messaging needs. Thornton joined Íøºì±¬ÁÏ as a writer and editor in 2007 and has enjoyed working on a wide variety of strategic initiatives since then, including supporting the university’s name change, launching new web initiatives, and contributing to print and digital advertising. Thornton has a Bachelor of Arts in journalism from Lehigh University and a Juris Doctor from University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law.
